Hi I’m Christie. I have been dancing since I was a child and have always loved performing. I have worked in various dance studios since 2016 and have gained experience in teaching for exams and show work. In 2019 I passed my IDTA Associate Freestyle qualification. I then went to university to study early years where I fell in love with cheerleading. I had the opportunity to captain one of the university teams and am very keen to continue teaching cheer. In 2023 I took some dancers to various cheer dance competitions in Blackpool and Blackburn. The dancers did incredibly well and gained many new friends along the way. I can’t wait to continue seeing our cheer team grow in 2024. We have some great competitons planned for the new season. My knowledge of the early years alongside my current experience working as a KS2 teacher allows me to create a nurturing and caring environment rooted in supporting each child to learn and have fun developing their skills as a cheerleader.
